Josh Gondelman is a writer and comedian living in New York City. He charms audiences with good-natured storytelling and cracks them up with sharp, pointy wit. Gondelman headlines Pretty Much the Best Comedy Show Underground at Proctors, 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, in support of his new book, You Blew It!: An Awkward Look at the Many Ways in Which You’ve Already Ruined Your Life (co-written with Joe Berkowitz).
Gondelman is a writer for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on HBO, and has written for Fuse TV’s Billy On The Street. His writing has also appeared in prestigious publications such as McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, New York Magazine and The New Yorker. He is the co-creator and co-author of the popular Modern Seinfeld Twitter account, and his own Twitter feed was named one of 2012′s best by Paste Magazine.
His debut standup comedy CD, Everything’s The Best was released in November of 2011 by Rooftop Comedy Productions, and this past November he recorded a Half Hour special to air on Comedy Central in 2016. Pretty Much the Best Comedy Show includes a featured act, host and a guest comedian, for nearly two hours of comic entertainment.
