Free summer family movies at Proctors offers affordable fun for all what’s better than spending a hot summer morning or afternoon with the family, snuggled into an air-conditioned theatre, watching a great, funny movie. Well, free is better. How about free? That’s right, Proctors is offering Free Summer Family Movies on select Sundays through July and August. Grab some popcorn and plop down in front of the GIANT screen at the GE Theatre at Proctors. The kids will love you for it, and you’ll have a grand time, too.

July 3 – Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs
A local scientist is regarded as a failure until he invents a machine that causes food to fall from the sky. That’s when his real troubles begin. Rated PG for brief mild language. Run time: 90 min.

July 10 – Muppets Take Manhattan
Kermit and friends go to New York to get their musical on Broadway, only to find it’s a more difficult task than they anticipated. Rated PG for mild peril and smoking. Run time: 89 min.

July 17 – Smurfs
When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world into New York City. Rated PG for some mild rude humor and action. Run time: 103 min.

July 24 – Annie (2014)
A young child (Quvenzhané Wallis) lives with her mean foster mom (Cameron Diaz) until New York tycoon—and mayoral candidate—Will Stacks (Jamie Fox) makes a thinly-veiled campaign move by taking her in. Rated PG for some mild language and rude humor. Run time: 118 min.

August 7 – Muppets From Space
Gonzo is contacted by his alien family through his breakfast cereal. He is kidnapped and it’s up to Kermit and the gang to both rescue and reunite him with his long-lost family. Rated PG for mild peril, smoking, and brief sensuality. Run time: 87 min.

August 14 – Hotel Transylvania
Dracula, who operates a high-end resort away from the human world, goes into overprotective mode when a boy discovers the retreat and falls for the count’s teen-aged daughter. Rated PG for some rude humor, action and scary images. Run time: 91 min.
