Proctors, Capital Repertory Theatre send new brochure to every home in region
At Proctors and Capital Repertory Theatre “We Are Theatre,” and soon the entire Capital Region will share in the drama, the comedy, the music, the dance and more.
This week virtually every home in a 14 county area (over 650,000 addresses) will receive the new 2016-2017 brochure from Proctors and Capital Repertory Theatre. The fully-integrated book reflects the fact, announced at a combined season announcement bash in February, that Proctors and theREP have joined closer than ever before, with a Key Private Bank Broadway Series and a KeyBank Subscription Series that feature performances at both venues in Schenectady and Albany, along with a host of options allowing subscribers to customize their experience.
Simply put, “We Are Theatre.”
“We present great shows at Proctors and produce great shows at Capital Repertory Theatre,” says Proctors CEO Philip Morris. “It just makes sense to put them all in one big brochure, so our patrons can experience everything we have to offer.”
In addition to the two previously announced subscription series (listed below), the new schedule explodes with over 80 new shows, five dozen of which will be announced for the first time via the mailer.
Highlights of the season include “The Naked Magic Show” (June 29), a visit with parodist Weird Al’ Yankovic (Sept. 17), “Disenchanted! The Hilarious Hit Musical” (Oct. 4–9), “The Aluminum Show” (Nov. 17), the return of “The Hip Hop Nutcracker with Kurtis Blow” (Dec. 6), “Into the Woods” (Feb. 4, 2017), “Christopher Lloyd Goes Back to the Future” (Feb. 19, 2017), Temptations and The Four Tops (March 26) and comedian Kathy Griffin (April 28, 2017).
Subscribing is easy! Becoming a member is fun! Visit proctors.org or call the Box Office at Proctors at (518) 346-6204.
