Parking open at theRep

ALBANY — Capital Repertory Theatre has constructed and opened a parking lot for patrons at 329 North Pearl St., one block north of the theatre.

The lot opened on Nov. 18 in time for theREP’s holiday production of the “Wizard of Oz.” Parking will begin one hour prior to shows; capacity is limited to 44 spots. Patrons may purchase a spot upon arrival with credit card for only $10 or purchase in advance by calling the box office at (518) 346-6204.

Free parking is also available within proximity of theRep. Over 100 parking spots can be found on Livingston and North Pearl streets. There is also garage parking available at 25 Orange St., which is roughly one-half mile from the theatre. There will no longer be a shuttle running from the garage to the theatre.

The parking shuttle which ran during shows from the Livingston Parking Garage during the past year was suspended in conjunction with the opening of the new lot.
