Universal Preservation Hall Announces New Shows to End 2024

Saratoga Springs (Aug. 28) – Universal Preservation Hall is thrilled to announce a lineup of exciting new shows to end its highly anticipated 2024 year. From a unique celebration of Bruce Springsteen’s iconic album to a rock ‘n’ roll performance by STARSHIP and a jazzy holiday spectacular, there’s something for everyone at the end of this year at UPH, thanks to season sponsor Bonacio.

As part of the fourth annual Saratoga Book Festival, Warren Zanes, acclaimed author and musician, will take audiences on an intimate journey through Bruce Springsteen’s classic album, “Nebraska.” This one-of-a-kind event will delve deep into the stories behind the songs, offering fans a rare glimpse into the creative process of one of rock’s most legendary figures. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to celebrate the legacy of “Nebraska” with an engaging evening of music and storytelling 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.

The band behind hits like “We Built This City” and “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” with a legacy spanning decades, STARSHIP featuring Mickey Thomas continues to thrill audiences worldwide with their dynamic performances and timeless classics. This concert promises to be a high-energy night filled with all the iconic songs fans know and love 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18.

Kick off the holiday season with a festive “It’s a Jazzy Christmas” concert 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20 at UPH. Featuring beloved holiday favorites reimagined in a jazz style, this performance will bring the warmth and cheer of the season to Saratoga Springs. Perfect for families and music lovers alike, this event will fill the hall with the joyful sounds of the season, creating a memorable evening of holiday spirit and celebration. “It’s a Jazzy Christmas” will also have a performance on Saturday, Dec. 21 at the GE Theatre at Proctors, Schenectady.
