From standing ovations to raised glasses
Universal Preservation Hall is officially licensed to serve, just in time for your next show.
For years, Universal Preservation Hall has been serving Saratoga Springs exactly what it does best — unforgettable music, inspiring performances, and a front-row seat to culture in one of the city’s most historic spaces. Now, there’s something new to raise your glass to; UPH officially has its liquor license.
After more than a century of stories echoing through its walls, this iconic former church has entered a new chapter, one where a perfectly poured cocktail can accompany a standing ovation.
“Receiving our hard liquor license is a milestone for UPH. It helps us better serve our audiences while supporting the future of our non-profit organization. It also helps us create a more complete and welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors,” said Director Teddy Foster.
The journey makes perfect sense. UPH has always been about bringing people together. From world-class concerts to community gatherings and milestone celebrations, it’s a place where moments are made. The addition of a liquor license simply enhances the experience — UPH will continue to serve soda, water, and other non-alcoholic drinks — allowing guests to enjoy a beverage before the show, during intermission, or while celebrating a special event under the hall’s soaring ceilings.
Think curated offerings, seamless service, and an atmosphere that feels elevated but never stuffy, just like Saratoga itself.
So, whether you’re sipping a glass of wine before your favorite artist takes the stage, clinking glasses at a private event, or enjoying a cocktail that pairs perfectly with live music, Universal Preservation Hall is ready to serve.
History has always lived here. Now, it can be toasted.
Cheers to the next act at Universal Preservation Hall.
