Capital Repertory Theatre and Universal Preservation Hall Announce New Board Member Appointments

SCHENECTADY (Feb. 4) – Proctors Collaborative is pleased to announce the appointment of new members to their Boards of Directors for Capital Repertory Theatre and Universal Preservation Hall, strengthening each organization’s leadership with deep expertise in law, public policy, nonprofit management, and financial stewardship. Patrick Jordan Esq. and Mary Louise Mallick, DPS, join the Board of theREP, while Jane H. Mastaitis joins the Board of UPH.

Jordan brings a strong background in law and public service to theREP. He currently serves as General Counsel for the American Association of Port Authorities, where he advises the Commissioners, CEO, and staff to handle litigation, contracts, policies, and legal proceedings for the Port. Jordan also currently serves as Chair of American Association of Port Authorities Law Review Committee, as Vice President of the Board of the USS Slater Destroyer Escort Historical Museum, and has been named the Vice-Chair of the Government Law Center Advisory Board at Albany Law School. Previously, Jordan was with the City of Albany and has remained deeply engaged in civic and nonprofit leadership throughout the Capital Region. Jordan earned a JD from Albany Law School and BA in English from Siena College. His experience navigating complex public-sector environments and his commitment to regional institutions will support theREP’s mission and long-term sustainability.

Mallick, DPS, joins the Capital Repertory Theatre board with more than three decades of experience in senior management, public finance, and policy development within the New York State government. She is the Principal of Shay Analytics, a consulting firm specializing in medical ethics, government policy, and nonprofit financial strategy. Throughout her career, Mallick has held senior leadership roles including Deputy Budget Director for the New York State Division of the Budget, Senior Policy Advisor and First Deputy Comptroller in the Office of the New York State Comptroller, and Secretary to the New York State Senate Finance Committee. Her work has included negotiating major statewide initiatives, strengthening fiscal oversight systems, and advancing economic development efforts across the state. Mallick holds a Doctorate of Professional Studies in Medical Ethics from Albany Medical College, along with advanced degrees in bioethics and economics. Her extensive experience in governance, budgeting, and strategic analysis will be an asset to theREP’s board.

Universal Preservation Hall welcomes Mastaitis, a seasoned nonprofit executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience in financial management and organizational growth. Mastaitis currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Saratoga Bridges/NYSARC, Inc., a nonprofit organization serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Saratoga County. She joined the organization in 1991 as Chief Financial Officer and was promoted to CEO in 2021. As part of senior leadership, Saratoga Bridges has grown from a $6 million organization into a $31 million agency, expanding its programs, residences, and workforce while maintaining long-term financial stability. Mastaitis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Management from the University of Pittsburgh and has been widely recognized for her leadership, including being named Capital Region CFO of the Year and a Saratoga Woman of Influence. Her expertise in strategic planning and fiscal oversight will support Universal Preservation Hall’s continued growth and community impact.
