UPH hosts first-ever Master Class

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Girl Blue led an inspiring and interactive songwriting Master Class at Universal Preservation Hall designed especially for young musicians.

Whether participants were composing their first song or already had a collection of lyrics waiting to come to life, the session took them deeper into the creative process of songwriting. Through engaging activities and guided exercises, participants explored how to craft meaningful lyrics, build strong melodies, and shape songs that reflected their own experiences and perspectives. Girl Blue shared professional insights into her creative approach, offering tips, techniques, and inspiration to help each participant find their unique artistic voice. By the end of the workshop, attendees walked away with new tools, fresh ideas, and the confidence to continue writing and sharing their music with the world.
