Proctors Announces Diverse Lineup of Six Unique Shows for the Upcoming Year

SCHENECTADY (Oct. 22) – Proctors is excited to announce an eclectic lineup of six unique shows set to take the stage over the next year. From comedy specials to captivating concerts and family-friendly performances, this diverse collection of events promises something for everyone. 

Mickey is getting ready for the biggest playdate ever at the Clubhouse with all his favorite pals, but mysterious weather keeps interrupting the fun during “Disney Jr. Live On Tour: Let’s Play.” “Disney Jr. Live on Tour” will be on the MainStage 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26.

In November, sit on the edge of your seat as Omnium Circus, the award-winning, spirited, limit-defying and life-affirming spectacular brings their artistry, memorable music and beautiful, heartwarming story to the MainStage 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1. Omnium Circus is spectacular entertainment celebrating diversity, creating joy and enriching empathy.

Originally known for his run on America’s Got Talent, Murray SawChuck just released his first one-hour comedy special, has headlined on the Las Vegas Strip for 22 years and has been in over 25 reality shows. Don’t miss his upcoming Capital Region stop 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1.

This creation by the late choreographer Nai-Ni Chen, delves into the rich tapestry of Chinese New Year traditions. Through a dazzling array of props, vibrant costumes, mesmerizing music, acrobatics and lively dance, the Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company narrates the ancient tale of villagers uniting to combat the Nian, an eternal monster that descends upon the earth annually on the MainStage at Proctors 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6.

Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood, known from their stint on “Whose Line Is It Anyway,” take the stage for a one-night-only uproarious live show, “Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood: Asking for Trouble.” Mochrie and Sherwood are a wild rollercoaster ride of hilarity, where two improv legends prove they are still the best in the business on the MainStage at Proctors 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27.

Since Riverdance first emerged on the world stage, its fusion of Irish and international dance and music has captured the hearts of millions worldwide. To celebrate this incredible 30year milestone, Riverdance will embark on a special anniversary tour, bringing its magic to audiences around the world and coming to the MainStage at Proctors 7:30 p.m. each night Tuesday, April 15- Thursday, April 17.
