Mission and Values
Foremost are education, civic engagement, and economic development
When local residents think of Proctors Collaborative, they often think of the Broadway shows presented at the nearly century-old structure at 432 State Street in Schenectady. But, Proctors Collaborative is so much more.
We expanded the scope of this website to raise the visibility of everything else that defines Proctors Collaborative: the Ambassador program in three cities, Capital Repertory Theatre in downtown Albany, a power plant in Schenectady, Universal Preservation Hall in the heart of Saratoga Springs, innovative programming, and so much more.
Our mission statement reads: “Through arts and community leadership be a catalyst for excellence in education, sustainable economic development and rich civic engagement to enhance the quality of life in the greater Capital Region.”
We hope you peruse this site and discover all that is Proctors Collaborative. Return often as our story keeps evolving. Our goal is to keep reaching more people in more profound ways in our pursuit of the best quality of life imaginable for our neighbors and community.
