Each year, several hundred thousand patrons (including 40,000 students) come to Proctors to enjoy a live performance, movies, educational programs, and special events. Additionally, long-term rentals like the Schenectady Greenmarket, graduations, and dance recitals help to support our claim to be the region’s premier gathering place for a communal arts experience.

Proctors is a not-for-profit organization that has positively impacted the Capital Region since 1926. From our early vaudeville roots to our role today as a nationally recognized blockbuster Broadway venue for shows such as “Wicked” and Disney’s “The Lion King,” we remain the region’s brightest star and an industry leader.

Unfortunately, ticket sales alone do not fully cover our operating costs, so we rely on foundations, corporations, and individuals like you to meet our additional annual need of more than $3 million dollars.
