Movies at The Addy at Proctors
Still time to catch some of the biggest Oscar® nominees and winners
SCHENECTADY, N.Y.—MARCH 12, 2018—The Addy at Proctors is fast becoming the hippest little art cinema in the Capital Region. The 100-seat theatre is intimate and engaging—the perfect spot for fine film.
Of late, The Addy has been hosting a bevy of Oscar®-nominated and Oscar-winning films, giving local movie buffs the opportunity to catch up on gems they might have missed, like Lady Bird, Phantom Thread and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
Still on the docket are screenings of The Shape of Water (through March 15), Call Me by Your Name (March 16–22) and I, Tonya (March 16–22).
“The Addy,” says Proctors Film Programmer Paul Kazee, “allows us to expand our extensive cinematic offerings beyond the MainStage and the GE Theatre. We have a longstanding commitment to film, including unusual fare not screened by other local movie houses. With this series of Academy Award® nominees and winners, we are introducing patrons to the new space. Keep an eye on The Addy, there’s much more to come.”
The Addy is located on the third floor of Proctors, 432 State Street, Schenectady. Admission to all of the above films is $6. Visit proctors.org for more information.
