PB&J Café at Proctors
Dinner theatre for kids with Stuart Little, March 29–30
Why should adults get all the fun!?
SCHENECTADY, N.Y.—MARCH 12, 2019—Dinner theatre. Relax. Eat. Enjoy the show. It’s the bomb!
But why should adults get all the fun?
PB&J Café at Proctors, March 29–30, will give young theatre-goers the opportunity to order a meal, participate in an art activity, dine during the live performance and come home with autographs from their favorite actors—just like mom and dad.
Developed by Adirondack Theatre Festival and presented in partnership with ATF and Union College’s Theatre Department, PB&J Café at Proctors kicks off its first installment with an unforgettable performance of Stuart Little.
All the charm, wisdom and joy of E.B. White’s endearing classic—about a mouse who is born into an ordinary New York family—are captured in this adaptation by Joseph Robinette, who also dramatized the highly-acclaimed stage version of Charlotte’s Web.
The many adventures, both big and small, of Stuart Little are brought vividly to life in this story-theatre presentation. The acting ensemble plays many human and animal roles in a series of escapades while trying to survive in a “real people’s world.”
Stuart Little is recommended for children ages 4–10 and their families.
Tickets, $15, for PB&J Café at the GE Theatre at Proctors, 7 p.m. Friday, March 29 and 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, March 30, are available at the Box Office at Proctors, 432 State Street, Schenectady; by phone at 518.346.6204; and online at proctors.org.
Stuart Little is produced by special arrangement with The Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, Illinois.
Food sponsor for PB&J Café at Proctors is Price Chopper/Market 32.
