SSSO Honors 13 Musicians at Opening Season Concert
At their opening concert weekend for the 2024-25 season, the Schenectady-Saratoga Symphony Orchestra recognized thirteen musicians who had retired and who provided outstanding service over a long period of time. Together, these thirteen musicians have dedicated five hundred and thirty-eight years of service, an outstanding achievement which SSSO’s wished to formally recognize.

- Lucinda Strasenburg, Violin — 54 years of service
- Janet Hutchison, Violin — 54 years of service
- Nathaniel Fossner, Oboe/English Horn — 45 years of service
- Lisa Kindt, Violin — 45 years of service
- John DeValve, Violin — 42 years of service
- Rick Rowley, Viola/Violin — 40 years of service
- Meme Pittman, Viola — 38 years of service
- Christine Dalapas, Violin — 37 years of service
- Susan Debronsky, Cello — 36 years of service
- Betsy Westman, Violin — 32 years of service
- Sean Lowery, Trumpet — 30 years of service
- Kathy Sadowsky, Clarinet — 25 years of service
