Shake things up for UPH’s annual fundraiser
The Shaken and Stirred celebrity bartender party is back to kick off summer
SARATOGA—The Shaken and Stirred celebrity bartender party is back! The annual fundraiser event for Universal Preservation Hall returns for its ninth year.
The party and fun take over Saratoga National Golf Course Thursday, May 16. Local businesses compete against each other, bartending for the most tips, all of which go to support UPH in downtown Saratoga.
“People love attending because this event kicks off the summer party season in Saratoga,” said Universal Preservation Hall Campaign Director Teddy Foster.
“It is UPH’s only fundraiser of the year and it’s very important to provide the children and family programming to the community,” Foster said.
Shaken and Stirred raised over $55,000 last year helping to bring family programming to Saratoga. Team Bonacio won the event in 2023 at the exuberant gathering.
“The competition between companies to make the most tips is hilarious and very competitive. There will also be all kinds of entertainment: a DJ, a 360-degree interactive photo booth, a juggling stilt walker, magician and more,” said Foster.
All proceeds from Shaken and Stirred will go directly to UPH to help bring family programming to our stages through The Collaborative School of the Arts.
The vision of the Collaborative School of the Arts is to provide extensive performing arts opportunities with instruction by regional and national professionals. Tuition assistance ensures student accessibility across the Collaborative School of the Arts, including UPH’s summer program Rock Camp.
Universal Preservation Hall and The Collaborative School of the Arts are a part of Proctors Collaborative.
