Dedicated volunteers honored and celebrated

Collaborative staff extends gratitude

SCHENECTADY—As a non-profit, the success of events and performances relies on the hard work of volunteers. Over 300 dedicated people who help keep the shows running were honored and celebrated at a dinner in October, hosted by the staff at Proctors Collaborative.

Any time you attend Proctors in Schenectady, Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany and Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs, volunteers are there to ensure you have the best time possible. From scanning tickets, helping to find your way and selling concessions, volunteers are there every step.

In addition to dinner, the event also included an award ceremony. Wally Allerdice was posthumously awarded Volunteer of the Year.  The annual appreciation dinner is one of many ways to show volunteers know how valuable they are to the Collaborative and the community.
