Universal Preservation Hall Announces Diverse New Lineup Featuring Sister Hazel, Comedy, Latin Music, and True Crime
SARATOGA SPRINGS (June 26) — Universal Preservation Hall continues to expand its 2026-27 season lineup with four newly announced events that showcase the venue’s commitment to bringing diverse entertainment experiences to downtown Saratoga Springs. From platinum-selling rock favorites and beloved local performers to high-energy Latin music and a gripping true-crime theatrical experience, these newly announced events offer something for every audience.
Acclaimed rock band Sister Hazel takes the Great Hall 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25. Known for their chart-topping hit “All for You” and a career spanning more than three decades, Sister Hazel has built a devoted following through their blend of Southern rock, folk, and pop influences. The band’s energetic live performances and fan-favorite catalog continue to attract audiences across the country.
A no-rules, high-voltage comedy showcase featuring four of the sharpest, fastest-rising stand-ups working today in “Who The Hell Are These Guys?” 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9. You may not recognize their names (yet), but you’ve seen their work. Each performer brings a completely different style, from brutally honest storytelling to rapid-fire punchlines to the kind of irreverent, “did-they-just-say-that?” humor that leaves audiences gasping… and then howling.
UPH will turn up the heat 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 when Alex Torres & His Latin Orchestra brings their signature blend of salsa, merengue, cha-cha, Latin jazz, and Afro-Caribbean rhythms to the Great Hall. Founded in 1980 and based in the Capital Region, the renowned 12-piece ensemble has become one of the Northeast’s premier Latin music acts, inspiring audiences to dance for more than four decades.
Closing out the announcement is “Con Man: A True Crime Story,” coming to UPH 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan 15 and Saturday, Jan. 16. This compelling theatrical event combines storytelling, suspense, and real-life intrigue as audiences are taken inside an astonishing tale of deception, manipulation, and survival. Ben Seidman is a hilarious master of deception — utilizing pickpocketing, sleight of hand, and psychological magic to create stunning and original magic experiences.
