Meet the Staff: Jeremy Anderson-Ward

Jeremy got to experience growing up in a variety of locations, including Illinois, New Mexico, Arizona, and Albany. He has worked at Proctors Collaborative for four years and strives to continue seeing the Collaborative grow and engage in community involvement.  

  1. What is a brief explanation of your role at Proctors Collaborative? I manage the day-to-day operations of box office, CSAs, and event only CSAs.  
  1. Do you remember the first moment you realized you wanted to be involved in the arts? Since I was young. my mom, grandmother, and brother were all involved in the arts growing up.  
    1. What musical/play impacted you the most? “Sesame Street Live” was the first show my parents took me to and I was enthralled. 
      1.  The most interesting fact, or thing that you’ve done. What are people surprised to learn about an interest of yours or something you’ve done? I have worked with Sha-Na-Na, Three Dog Night, and spent a summer doing Summer Stock with Christopher Lloyd. 
        1. What’s your favorite thing about working for Proctors Collaborative? Getting to make a difference for patrons. 
          1. In your opinion, why are the arts so important to our culture? As human beings, art is the passing along of our culture — without art, the world is a really bleak place.  
            1. What is one of your favorite memories working at Proctors Collaborative? Seeing patrons walk away effected by a performance.  
              1. What, or who, is your dream performance to see at one of our venues? “Maybe Happy Ending.” It’s just a really beautiful show that I want everyone to see. 
                1. What is one thing you want the Capital Region to know about Proctors Collaborative? We are just human beings who are here to help you.
