SSSO Honors 13 Musicians at Opening Season Concert

At their opening concert weekend for the 2024-25 season, the Schenectady-Saratoga Symphony Orchestra recognized thirteen musicians who had retired and who provided outstanding service over a long period of time. Together, these thirteen musicians have dedicated five hundred and thirty-eight years of service, an outstanding achievement which SSSO’s wished to formally recognize.

  • Rick Rowley, Viola/Violin — 40 years of service
  • Meme Pittman, Viola — 38 years of service
  • Christine Dalapas, Violin — 37 years of service
  • Susan Debronsky, Cello — 36 years of service
  • Betsy Westman, Violin — 32 years of service
  • Sean Lowery, Trumpet — 30 years of service
  • Kathy Sadowsky, Clarinet — 25 years of service

We thank these wonderful musicians for providing our community with such outstanding music — we are truly grateful.
