Tips, tips, tips rake in over 70K for family programming

Shaken and Stirred fundraiser raises record amount

SARATOGA—Children and family programming was the winner at the 9th annual Shaken and Stirred celebrity bartender event held at Saratoga National Golf Course. The fundraiser brought in a record-breaking $100,000 in tips and event sponsorships for Universal Preservation Hall.

The money raised directly impacts Collaborative School of the Arts programing at UPH, such as Rock Camp, On-The-Go! Tours and student matinees.

Team DeCrescente took home the Shaken trophy and bragging rights by raising more than $26,000 for the event.

Representatives from DeCrescente, Bonacio, Stewart’s Shops, Mohawk Auto Group, the Fingerpaint Group, Palette, Saratoga Living and the Capital Region Chamber as Team Leadership Capital Region raised $72,325 collectively in tips.

According to UPH Director Teddy Foster, sponsors from Mazzone Hospitality, Pinnacle Roofing Inc., Saratoga Living, Bobear Family Fund and AM&J Digital pushed the total to over $100,000.
