SCHENECTADY, N.Y.—FEB. 5, 2019—Ready to shake? Ready to move? This Valentine’s Day is an explosion of sizzling fun in Schenectady. Make it special—make it salsa!
Salsa Dance Night at the GE Theatre at Proctors, 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, features music by the inimitable Alex Torres & His Latin Orchestra.
Dancing, food and salsa lessons complete the romantic scene.

The 30-minute dance lesson is provided by Dance Fire Studio & Fitness, a Niskayuna-based atelier led by the award-winning couple of Natalia O’Connor and Florin Vlad.
Puerto Rican food samples come from Proctors own Apostrophe Café, along with a Sangria drink special.
Tickets, $40, include dance instruction, food and music, and are available at the Box Office at Proctors, 432 State Street, Schenectady; by phone at 518.346.6204; and online at proctors.org. Cash bar.
